Work & Hygiene Practices: Avoid long exposure with this material. Please use in a ventilated area. Wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap & water after using this product. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while handling this product. 

 

* 7. Storage & Handling Information

 

Storage & Handling: When using put it in a cool, dry, ventilated area. Keep away from excessive heat, open flames, sparks, and other sources of ignition. Do not store in damaged or unmarked containers! Keep containers securely closed when not in use. Open slowly on a level, stable surface. Empty containers may contain residual amounts of this product; therefore, handle empty containers with care. Keep away from kids at all times!

First aid: Do NOT INGEST!!  If ingested, do not induce vomiting! If product has been swallowed, drink plenty of water or milk IMMEDIATELY. If you are vomiting, continue to drink water or milk. Don’t ever give water or milk to an unconscious person. Contact Poison Control Center at 1-303-623-5716 or the local emergency number. Provide an estimate of the time when product was ingested and the amount of the substance that was swallowed.

Don't wear contaminated clothing until after they have been properly cleaned. If irritation, redness or swelling persists, consult a physician immediately.  If product is on the skin and irritation occurs, rinse with warm water and plenty of soap. INHALATION: Get fresh air at once. If breathing stops, perform artificial respiration. Seek immediate medical attention.

 

* 11.  Accidental Spills

 

Spills: Before cleaning any spill or leak, anyone involved in spill cleanup must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

Small spills wear personal protective gear. Proper ventilation, open doors and windows. Remove spilled material and place into appropriate closed containers for disposal. Remove any contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.

12:1 May form flammable/explosive vapor-air mixture. For quantities over 5 liters. Heat may build pressure, rupturing closed containers, spreading fire and increasing risk of burns and injuries. May form flammable/explosive vapor-air mixture.

12:2 Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. Avoid fire-fighting water to enter environment.

12:3 Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection. Wear a self contained breathing apparatus. Wear fire/flame resistant/retardant clothing.
